Photo of the Day
Dachshunds were originally bred to hunt badgers, therefore, it is in their nature to burrow. Dachshunds that are house pets like to burrow and curl up in blankets to make their bed. However, as Lola is not housebroken yet, she doesn't have that option as I'm not willing to wash towels and doggie blankets daily. So she sleeps at night in a crate lined with newspapers and in our laundry room during the day.
You can't fight nature, though, and I guess this was the best she could do:

OK - that's hilarious.
Lorna, this is the second time you've posted something about Lola and I can't see the photo/video. Since others seem to be able to see it, can you just email the photo of Lola? I want to see that puppy.

You should revisit your title description. You are now two dogs, and poor Lola doesn't make the pic either. Oh, and post something new already!
Gram says, OK already. Give your new family member what she needs. A Blanket!!!!!! Think of all the laundry you and Tim do. Can't you do a little laundry for a very little lady.
Okay, that cracks me up. We were reminded of the original purpose of dauschaunds when my parents' dog, Ernie, found a mouse out in the garage and SHOOK IT by the neck till it was dead. It made me see the cute weiner dog in a whole new light!
