We GOT Gum
So Reed makes a list for Christmas and on the list is a bucket of bubble gum like is at his Mema's house. Now Mema has it going on ---- if you go to her house, the pantry is always stocked with your favorites (flapsticks, cinnamon rolls, Capri Suns, Jones soda) and a BIG Sam's Club bucket of bubble gum. Now Reed being no one's fool, LOVES gum and LOVES his Mema, sooooo he asks for gum for Christmas. Well, his Mema got him a BIG bucket of gum, which he got the weekend before Christmas. Santa won't be outdone, so he gives Reed a BIG bucket of gum and then finally, since the gum had been on Reed's list which was posted on the refrigerator for all to see, Reed's Gram gives him a BIG bucket of gum. We are now the proud owners of like 1000 individual pieces of gum! Yea, we GOT gum. "Hey, Dum-Dum, you got gum-gum?" (quote from the Easter Island statue in Night at the Museum)

I'll be curious to know how long all that gum will last because in my house, those 1000 pieces would be gone before the end of the month! This is why we don't usually have gum.
It'll last awhile as it's stored on top of the refrigerator and rationed out. However, the other kids take gum, too, after asking permission from Reed, but he's a great sharer.
